Prom
King’s Court

Friday, May 1 brought the lights, camera, and action to Boiling Springs as the upperclassmen attended the 2015 Hollywood-themed prom. Students dressed in expensive gowns and tuxedos for the final high school dance for the class of 2015.
Though preparations for the night lasted all day long, prom began as any Hollywood event should- with paparazzi. Keeping with tradition, students gathered at the Childrens’ Lake to take pictures with friends and family. The local spot, which is usually calm and quiet, was buzzing with laughs, conversation, and the sound of cameras snapping photos. After pictures, groups of friends took to popular local restaurants such as Fiddler’s, the Tavern, and Black-N-Bleu. When the clock struck 7, students walked the red carpet into West Shore Country Club, ready to dance the night away. Not only did prom-goers enjoy breaking it down on the dance floor, but the photo booth was also a popular activity for students to enjoy. At 8 o’clock, the prom court was presented to the crowd. Voted by their class, Grant Bond and Kelley Hertzler were crowned King and Queen. |
