The boy’s Bubbler swim team had a successful season with 8 wins and only two losses. This is a big improvement from last year, when their record was only 4-5.
The Bubblers began the season with a close meet at Northern York. They won their first meet with a final score of 93-92. Throughout the rest of the season, the boys consistently held a large lead on their competitors. The boys proudly ended the season ranked second in the Mid-Penn Colonial Division.
Jack Niles and Jack Pallis competed at the Mid Penn diving competition on February 2 at Big Spring.
The Mid Penn swimming championships took place at Cumberland Valley High School on February 6 and 7. Though it was a tough meet for the 10 swimmers who qualified, overall they finished in fourth place. In the 200 Freestyle Relay, Andrew Cawley, Dylan Knaub, Alex Scheetz, and Billy Weber took third place with a time of 1:30.14, breaking the team record set in 2007. Boiling Springs was ranked as the number one AA team. Districts will take place on February 27 and 28.
